Visitors who look and leave
People find your site through search, a referral or an advert. They read the home page, cannot tell quickly what you do for someone like them or what it involves, and close the tab. You paid for that visit in time or in ad spend.
A service business does not sell from a basket. The website has one job: turn the right visitor into an enquiry or a booked call. A good-looking site that does not do this is a brochure.
What we build
- Websites. A site that says who you serve, what you do and what happens next, with an enquiry or booking step on every page. Fast on a phone, and yours to edit.
- Funnels and landing pages. One page for one service and one audience, built for paid traffic. A click lands on the offer it was promised, so you can see what a booked call costs.
Design is half of it. For MRM Group, a UK property development and investment company, we built the public funnel and connected it to their CRM, so enquiries arrive where the team already works.
That describes the build, and we publish no result figures for it. Once an enquiry lands, how fast you respond decides much of what happens next.
What is it worth? Do the sum
The lever is more clients, from visitors you already have.
- Each page answers the visitor's first questions and offers one clear step.
- The enquiry form asks only what your team needs to qualify.
- Every enquiry goes into your CRM with its source, so you can count it.
| What you count | Example |
|---|---|
| Visitors a month | 800 |
| If one more in every 100 enquires | 8 extra enquiries |
| Close rate | 1 in 4, so 2 clients |
| Value of a client | £1,000 |
| Worth a year (2 × £1,000 × 12) | £24,000 |
Example figures. Swap in your own.
Take last month's visitors from your analytics and divide your enquiries by that number to get your enquiry rate. Then run the sum with your own close rate and client value.
Bring the result to a call. The audit report prices this gap with the others it finds.
When a template site is enough
If your clients come by referral and only check you are real, a tidy template site is enough, and we will say so. A designed build is worth it when you pay for traffic, compete in search, or need the site connected to booking, your CRM and follow-up.
How pricing works
Every website is scoped and priced in writing after an audit. You get a range before it and a fixed price after the written scope, which also sets the timeline. Hosting and domain costs are paid directly to the providers from your own accounts.
Websites for service businesses across Manchester
We work with clinics, property firms, professional services, agencies and trades across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, including Salford, Bolton and Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. We are a service-area business, and in-person meetings are available on request. Our Manchester AI automation agency page shows what we connect a site to.
Frequently asked questions
How much does website design cost in Manchester for a service business?
It depends on the number of pages, the copy and what the site connects to. Every website is scoped and priced in writing after an audit, with a range before and a fixed price after the written scope.
Do you write the words as well as design the pages?
Yes. The copy is drafted from what we learn in the audit, and you approve every page before it goes live.
Will we be able to edit the site ourselves?
Yes. It is built in your own accounts, and your team is trained to change text, images and pages at handover.
Do we need a new website or just landing pages?
If the site is sound and the problem is paid traffic, landing pages may be all you need. The audit shows which.
Will the site work with our booking system and CRM?
That is part of the build. Enquiries and bookings are sent to the systems you already use, and the scope lists each connection.
Who owns the website and domain?
You do. The site, the domain and the hosting sit in your own accounts.
