Questions at night get no answer until Monday
People look for a clinic, a letting agent or an accountant when their own working day is over. They ask a question on your website at 9pm on a Friday. Your team sees it on Monday morning, after the person has asked two other firms.
The enquiry was real and the interest was there. It was lost in the gap between when customers ask and when your team is at their desks.
What we build
- Conversational AI and chatbots. A chatbot on your website or messaging channels that answers common questions, asks your qualifying questions and offers a booking. Each conversation is saved to your CRM, so the team starts Monday with context.
- AI knowledge assistants. The same approved information, searchable by your own staff. New starters get answers without asking the same senior person again.
Limits matter. In Moffatt v Air Canada (2024), a Canadian tribunal held the airline liable for wrong fare information its website chatbot gave a customer.
So ours answer only from approved information, say when they do not know and hand over to a person. Medical, legal and financial advice always goes to a person.
What is it worth? Do the sum
The lever is more clients from enquiries you already receive out of hours.
- The chatbot answers straight away from your approved answers.
- It asks the questions your team would ask and offers a booking or a callback.
- Anything it cannot answer goes to a named person with the full conversation.
| What you count | Example |
|---|---|
| Out-of-hours enquiries a week | 8 |
| Share that go elsewhere before you reply | half, so 4 |
| Share of those you could win | 1 in 4, so 1 a week |
| Value of a client | £350 |
| Worth a year (52 × £350) | £18,200 |
Example figures. Swap in your own.
Go through last month's forms, emails and messages and count those that arrived after closing or at the weekend. Then count how many never replied to your Monday answer.
Bring both to a call. The audit report prices the gap alongside your other problems.
When a custom chatbot is not worth it
If almost all your enquiries arrive in working hours and get a quick reply, a chatbot adds little. If people ask the same five questions, a clear page of answers and a booking link may be enough. See custom AI chatbots compared with off-the-shelf ones.
How pricing works
Every build is scoped and priced in writing after an audit. Before it you get a range, and after the written scope a fixed price.
AI usage and other running costs are paid directly to the providers from your own accounts. You can see how pricing works nationally.

Frequently asked questions
How much does AI chatbot development cost in Manchester?
It depends on the channels, the systems it connects to and how much approved content it needs. Every build is scoped and priced in writing after an audit, with a range before and a fixed price after the written scope.
What stops the chatbot making things up?
It is limited to information you have approved. When a question falls outside that, it says it does not know and hands over to a person.
Does it tell people they are talking to AI?
Yes. Our AI systems tell people they are automated.
Can it book appointments?
Yes, where your booking system allows a connection. The scope confirms what it can book and what goes to your team.
How do you test it before customers use it?
With real questions, awkward questions and failure cases before launch. Our guide on testing an AI agent before customers see it explains the method.
Who owns the chatbot and its conversations?
You do. It is built in your own accounts, and the conversation data is yours.
